随着中国移动通信进入4G时代，通信基站也开始进入大规模的建设阶段，本文阐述了移动通信基站选址与勘察的思路，原则以及建站过程中对防雷接地，电磁环境保护等方面的要求，基站选址需要考虑的因素有：站点位置，站点物业高度，物业性质，建筑物结构等，基站选址要与站型特点结合，覆盖区类型不同对站点要求也不同,在移动通信基站建设中选址工作是较为关键的一步，做好基站的勘察选址工作能给基站建设的顺利开展提供依据，还能保证基站使用的安全性和稳定性在无线网络的规划中，基站站点的选取对网络的性能和运维影响很大，正确，合理的选择站址和勘察站址是无线网络规划关键步骤之一，在无线网络建设中起着相当重要的作用。
